Museum established in an old barn . Most of the artifacts were left on Marcel Schmetzes’ parents’ farm by the 110 First Infantry Division soldiers who were resting on the farm . The other items are donated by WWII veterans. Museum with a human dimension, great welcome, original aspect and simplicity. The museum wants to show our gratefulness to all these « G.I.S » who came, at the risk of their life, to give us our freedom back. The Remember Museum is located 2 miles from the Henri-Chapelle American Military Cemetery where 7.992 soldiers are buried. |
